From January 2002 through January 2003, Peter worked full-time
for Team Dennis Conner's effort to win the America's Cup for the New York Yacht
Club. Training took place in Long Beach, CA through August and then
Auckland, New Zealand for the racing. The team was eliminated in the
quarterfinal round of the Louis Vuitton Cup. Peter served on the team's
afterguard and in addition to his racing duties, was in charge of the instrument
system, data collection and analysis and the team's weather
